About

About The Urban Drifter-  The "Dream", was embedded in my mind as a young boy in Little Rock, Arkansas (THANK YOU Franklin E.S.). The "Dream"- an obsession with seeing the world, other people from places far away, hearing different languages, experiencing others cultures, seeing the land, tasting the cuisine. For example: imagined that I wasn't riding in a car on a cold, winter night in Little Rock, but I was "in" Sweden, Norway...somewhere other than Little Rock. Like that one example, there are countless more. My travels began soon after leaving the University Of Arkansas upon finishing my sophomore year. There was a six (6) month short-term employment opportunity in Alaska that fell through several weeks after the start of what would have been my junior year of college. So, now what? Living in Los Angeles as a young, young boy, I knew I would return but I didn't know when. A conversation with my father led me to that return, where I found myself managing a platinum-selling recording artist that I had never heard of. My father served as his attorney. JS, as he was/is called, and I organically created a partnership finding myself unintentionally but amazing deep in the music industry. JS was already a veteran in the business where he showed me the "old school" way, with me bringing the "new" way, which creating a dynamic and much respected team. Our partnership flourished at an astounding rate. And while moving in the "glamorous" and fast paced life of the record business, I managed to complete my university studies from California State University, Los Angeles. I've been blessed to travel the world, mostly but not only due to the music business. Hence, the "Dream" to travel was realized, evolving to my personal duty to expose the world and to inspire others to develop an interest to see the world for themselves. It was a must that I had a video camera in hand, not just for me but for those to see what I was seeing thru "my eyes". For the newly-found and inspired traveler to those less fortunate for whatever reason that life has dealt. I thank God everyday for realizing the "Dream". It all starts with- a "Dream". It's a wonderful world, indeed.
